| Hidden Falls |
 |
| Cascade Canyon |
We explored the first of many trails in
Jenny Lake. The first stop was
Hidden Falls, just less than a mile. Then it was to
Inspiration Point. From there, we could see the lake from above. Once we moved on to
Cascade Canyon, the crowd thinned. I guessed the main reason is the snow still on the ground. The trail was covered with patches of snow, caused by avalanches. Some areas had hard-packed snow and some, slushy and soft. It was hard work trying to get through, undoubtedly made harder with our choice of footwear. However, the hike was well worth it. We saw some impressive sceneries and a creature, we think its a gopher.
