Arcadia National Park, Maine, NH

Cadillac Mtn
Day 2 and its our first full day in the park.
The Bubbles is about an hour long walk. A bit of steep rock climbing with a view of Jordan Pond. The water was clear, not surprising as its public water supply. At the top was a big rock and a view, of course.
Cadillac Mountain - 8 mile roundtrip hike from our campsite. Gradual uphill almost all the way. Had lunch at the first spot we saw with a view.  There were lots of people when we got to the top of as it is accessible by car. Glad we did it the tough way. The trip down was a bit tougher and both of us did end up with hot spots and rubs on our feet.

It was straight to a public shower after a full day walking. Coin operated, 8 qtrs for 4 mins. Its a quickest shower I have ever taken with 1 min to spare. Dinner in Bar Harbor town called McKays recommended by an ex-colleague of TJ's. Early night as we did about 12 miles.
